Open that borough’s planning-application search and use the property address, application reference, or map tools it provides. Check decisions, conditions, and dates on each matching case.
Use the borough building-control search or records-request route for local-authority records. If a registered private approver handled the work, the borough planning register alone will not answer the building-control question.
Request the borough file, decision notice, completion record, or other official document when the public register is incomplete, and use the Building Safety Regulator route where higher-risk building rules apply.
